Now, I know this cover has been emulated plenty times in merchandising and comic covers, but I really just want someone to use Steranko’s art style and do a mini featuring Phil Couslon’s early S.H.I.E.L.D stories.

THE COMIC I’M HYPED FOR THIS WEEK
I’ve been on a bit of Hawkeye kick lately (thanks to Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye solo series), so naturally the book i’m looking forward to this week is Avengers #30, written by Brian Michael Bendis and art from Walt Simonson.
It promises to be centered on Hawkeye/Spider-Women.

I hope something similar occurs in an Avengers sequel, but you know he ain’t worthy.
